The award-winning Get A Clue Vocabulary Development Series is a line of software and Web-based programs for students in grades 5 and up. Featuring the WATS™ System, Get A Clue promotes vocabulary acquisition through the use of critical thinking, not rote memorization.

In all Get A Clue vocabulary programs, students apply etymology and critical thinking skills (application, analysis, synthesis) in a sequential, inductive process designed to develop true understanding of word meaning — before any formal definition is provided.
